all of you

A collective vocative used to three or more people of either sex and of any age. ‘Do, all of you, come over for drinks tomorrow’ says a woman in Thursday Afternoons, by Monica Dickens. There are further examples of its use in Doctor in the House, by Richard Gordon; A Kind of Loving, by Stan Barstow; Lord of the Flies, by William Golding; The Limits of Love, by Frederic Raphael; Under the Volcano, by Malcolm Lowry. The expression is sometimes expanded to include a specific number, as in Howard’s End, by E.M.Forster, which has: ‘Come in, all three of you!’ cried his father.
